Jeffrey R Gagliano, MD
Dr. Gagliano, originally from Smithtown, NY, graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology
and minor in Microbiology. He then completed a masters degree in physiology at Columbia University, performing masters research in
cardiovascular physiology. During graduate school at Columbia, he researched and published on the immunogenetics of maternal-fetal
HIV transmission and patient survival. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in
Denver, CO. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of California, San Francisco. During
medical school and residency, his orthopaedic research interests included the molecular biology of fracture healing and clinical
research on the treatment of Essex-Lopresti upper extremity trauma. His clinical interests lie in the disorders of the shoulder
and knee, as well as articular cartilage injuries and restoration.
Dr. Gagliano is joined in Denver by his wife Brenda Puccio and their son, Brady. He enjoys many outdoor sports and activities,
including skiing and mountaineering, lacrosse, mountain biking, fishing and golf.
Harold Schock, MD
Dr. Schock, originally from Ann Arbor, Mi, graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology while
playing on the varsity hockey team. After one year of professional hockey, he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine at the University
of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Mi. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the Loyola University
in Chicago, Il. During medical school and residency, his orthopaedic research interests included gender differences in the ability
of athletes to protect their knee from torsional forces as well as using gravity-stress examinations in the evaluation of ankle
fractures. Clinically, he is interested in disorders of the shoulder and knee, as well as articular cartilage injuries and
restoration.
Dr. Schock is joined in Denver by his wife Katie and their son born in Feb 2007. He and his wife enjoy many outdoor sports and
activities, including fishing, golfing and hiking.
