Tom Noonan, M.D.

Tom Noonan, M.D.Dr. Noonan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University, where he played football and majored in Civil Engineering and Operations Research. He then attended the Duke University School of Medicine where he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He stayed at Duke University for his Orthopaedic Surgery residency training and then performed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.

Dr. Noonan joined the Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver in January of 2001 and specializes in treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders. He also is skilled in the evaluation of general orthopaedic problems such as fractures and ankle sprains. He serves as the Medical Director for the Colorado Rockies major league baseball team. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Noonan and his wife live in Denver with their two daughters. They enjoy skiing, hiking, tennis, and biking in their spare time.

Gary Sakryd

Gary SakrydGary Sakryd graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Sports Medicine.  Following his undergraduate studies, he was certified as an Athletic Trainer.  He continued his education at the University of Oregon, receiving a M.S. in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology.  During his post-graduate studies he worked as an Athletic Trainer in Eugene Oregon.  Gary came to the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail in July of 1997, working at an athletic trainer and medical assistant.  During this time he worked with the Denver Broncos as an athletic trainer during Training Camp.  Following his time at the Vail clinic, Gary spent a year working in the Virgin Islands as an athletic trainer and surgical assist.

Gary studied for his PA degree at Cornell University.  After graduating, Gary came to the Steadman Hawkins Denver Clinic in the fall of 2003.  He is currently the physician assistant to Dr. Noonan.

Gary is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainer’s Association.    Gary is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistants.  He also provides medical coverage for Douglas County High School.

Gary and his spouse live in the Denver area with their two daughters.  Gary enjoys running, biking and snowboarding in his spare time.
