Jennifer Kummer, M.D. - Denver, CODr. Jennifer Kummer graduated Cum Laude from the University of Rochester with degrees in both Biology and Economics. She then attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. She performed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She then performed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Dr. Kummer joined the Steadman Hawkins Clinic - Denver in September 2008. She specializes in the treatment of disorders of the hand and upper extremity. This includes sports related injuries, fractures, arthritis, pediatric conditions, and peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome. She is a  member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Kummer is a consulting team physician for the Colorado Rockies Professional Baseball Club and the Denver Broncos football team. She also is the team physician for Regis Jesuit High School.

Dr. Kummer lives in Denver and enjoys running, skiing, and biking in her spare time.
