Dr. MurphyDr. Murphy

Dr. Murphy, originally from Port Huron, Michigan, graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in biology. While at Albion he played both varsity football and baseball and was a member of the 1994 NCAA Division III National Champion football team. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his residency, his orthopaedic research interests included the timing of rotator cuff repair for the restoration of function and patient perceptions of hip resurfacing arthroplasty. Clinically, he is interested in disorders of the shoulder and knee, as well as articular cartilage injuries and restoration.

Dr. Murphy is joined in Denver by his wife Allison. He and his wife enjoy many outdoor sports and activities including skiing, hiking, fishing and windsurfing.

Dr. Brad BushnellDr. Brad Bushnell

Originally from Athens, Georgia, Dr. Brad Bushnell attended Vanderbilt University where he received a B.A. in Religious Studies, graduated with honors, and was president of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was president of Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He has published numerous research papers in multiple orthopaedic journals, including JAAOS, AJSM, Arthroscopy, JHS-A, Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, and several others. He has presented research at multiple regional, national, and international meetings, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, among others. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, running, biking, triathlons, and spending time with his family. He is joined in Denver by his wife Kimberly, son Bo, and two Boykin spaniels - Hampton and Sardis.
